Description
An 1822 edition of the much reprinted copper-plate engravings of William Hogarth (1697-1764). The plates depict satirical narratives with strong social and political statements about the London of his time. This edition was printed by Jas. Wade, Tavistock St., Covent Garden, London. Other contributors Blake, William (1697-1764), Nichols, John (1745-1826) and Heath, James (1757-1834)
