Parchment. Title supplied by cataloguer. Text 130 x 65 mm. Two columns in black and red ink. Script: Gothic bookhand rubrics in red coloured initials alternating in red and blue one 3-line illuminated initial D in burnished gold infilled with red on a ground of blue with fine white penwork decoration above and below the right column are acanthus leaves in blue, red, green and liquid gold with other flowers, burnished gold bezants and fine black tendrils the two panels are joined by a bar border in liquid gold. Baillieu Library leaf includes a hymn attributed to St. Gregory the Great (540-604) Rerum creator optime and the beginning of Psalm 52: Dixit insipiens. In Latin.
