    Notebook called 'Dude', holograph. Contains Germaine Greer's initial research notes for her PhD on William Shakespeare's early comedies. Hardcover, burgundy, Ideal series, British made. DUDE is written on every fore edge of the notebook. Underneath the title Dude on the first page, is Oxford. June 21st. Ink splatters bleed in from the edges of first pages. Greer has numbered the pages 2-86 from front to back and these contain detailed notes, in alphabetical order, about 16th and 17th century people [from Dictionary of National Biography?] On page 92 (unnumbered) is a 3-page draft review of Steve Butcher's production of Green Julia. [Greer's review of Green Julia was published in the Cambridge Review in 1967].
