melbourne.description.notesI wasn't there, but... "Mic Conway does the Ladies and Gentlemen...Circus Ozzz thing too. I would like someone to collect all of the different versions of people in the show doing this announcement over the years!" (David Carlin, 1/12/2012 9:50:00 AM)

melbourne.description.notesI wasn't there, but... "I find this amazing to watch because I know Alan but only as a fabulous props designer and maker and inventor (often for Circus Oz). This is the first time I've ever seen him performing." (David Carlin, 1/12/2012 9:52:00 AM)
melbourne.description.notes
melbourne.description.notesI wasn't there, but... "This video, as Oz founding member Jon Hawkes has said, is a strange goldmine of early vision of Circus Oz including, apparently, footage from their very first first show." (David Carlin, 1/12/2012 9:54:00 AM)

melbourne.description.notesIn reply to I wasn't there, but... "Yes that's Laurel Frank balancing a peacock feather on her nose..." (Sue Broadway, 4/05/2013 8:25:00 AM)

melbourne.description.notesI wasn't there, but... "This is a pretty amazing bunch of distinct films that should really be cut up into separate 'Shows'. Some fabulous interview moments including Sue Broadway describing her ideal future, Tim describing the Artistic Process, Sue being interviewed next to Eartha Kitt by John Singleton. Also some long-form and short-form promos of an early version of the show. A full version of Jonno's three-ball shot close-up." (Mike Finch, 8/03/2013 9:37:00 PM)
melbourne.description.notes
melbourne.description.notesI wasn't there, but... "Saw a Circus Oz show in Bath, 1980ish - first UK Tour. One of the best evenings I've ever had at the theatre" (Kim Baston, 3/12/2013 2:09:00 AM)
melbourne.description.notes
melbourne.description.notesI was there, and... "Believe it or not that web rope was actually hand made on a machine made out of old bicycle parts and a hand drill by Alan Robertson and Tim. We stretched out strands of heavy duty cotton along the length of the Pram Factory basement, then twisted a three stranded rope. You couldn't buy cotton rope in those days. I sewed the loop by hand as well. I'd forgotten that the costume had a hood. What was I thinking?!" (Sue Broadway, 4/05/2013 7:42:00 AM)
melbourne.description.notes
melbourne.description.notesI was there, and... "I can't remember who was in the Frog. Jack? Alan?" (Sue Broadway, 4/05/2013 7:47:00 AM)

melbourne.description.notesI was there, and... "The rainbow lycra allover was a radical costume...." (Sue Broadway, 4/05/2013 8:00:00 AM)
melbourne.description.notes
melbourne.description.notesI was there, and... "I don't remember doing the interview - but I do remember the hours and hours of practice that went into the ring juggle. And the lengthy collective meetings. Good to know that I was hopeful that Circus Oz would continue." (Sue Broadway, 4/05/2013 8:04:00 AM)
