Uses an ensemble of reeds, percussion and plucked strings to conjure an archaic sound world as the backdrop to soloist Deborah Kayser's exploration of Iphigenia's interior worlds. Composed in 1986 but receiving its broadcast premi�re tonight, EXILE is on its way to becoming the world's first iPad opera in the hands of Chamber Made Opera and their collaborators APHIDS.
